Lake Creek Lodge might be my new favorite wedding venue. I got married at a summer camp in Vermont, so I get excited every time there is a wedding that involves cabins. Give me a wedding with a wonderful couple, some puns and some gorgeous details and I’m GIDDY!
Emily & Jack had 150 people with everyone staying on site in Lake Creek Lodge’s truly adorable cabins in Camp Sherman. If you are looking for a venue with an upscale summer camp atmosphere, check out Lake Creek Lodge.
These two had an eye for detail. Emily had her dress (AND CAPE) custom made and had art deco style crowns and hair accessories made for the day. Her floral arrangements were AMAZING. Woodland Floral partially forged Emily’s bouquet, which is a beautiful way to capture some of the magic of Central Oregon.
Mismatched bridesmaid dresses are incredibly hard to pull off (coming from someone who personally tried and gave up). The Bridesmaid’s sage patterned dresses were all from Reformation and I want them all.
Their ceremony spot was perfectly framed by the tall ponderosa pines and the pond behind them.
Their reception was PEARfectly (GET IT!) styled by AE Creative. Even better, their pear name cards lended to a lot of pear themed puns during speeches (the PEARfect couple) which had me giggling all night.
I was pregnant at this wedding and now my daughter actually attends the preschool that Emily teaches at! It’s truly lovely to get to see this bride on a regular basis and fun that one day my daughter will likely get to have Emily as her teacher.
