Hood River weddings have a rhythm all their own — the breeze off the Columbia, the light shifting across the cliffs, that mix of laid-back and breathtakingly beautiful. When you open your gallery years from now, I want you to be transported right back to that feeling — not just how it looked, but how it felt.
My approach is simple: you stay fully present, and I’ll take care of the rest. I’ll gently guide you into poses that feel natural and elevated, then step away so the real moments can breathe. Your wedding day isn’t a production — it’s an experience. I pay close attention to the subtle in-between moments — wind catching your veil, a hand squeeze before walking down the aisle, laughter drifting across the orchard at sunset.
I’ll give you direction in a way that feels effortless and true to you, creating images that hold both the sweeping Gorge views and the honest, unscripted connection that made your day yours.
Real connection will always matter more to me than perfectly posed photos. The most meaningful images happen when you’re comfortable enough to forget the camera — especially at a Hood River wedding where the landscape already brings so much beauty to the day. I create an atmosphere that feels easy and supportive, so your photos reflect genuine joy, movement, and emotion.
I’m Hannah — a Bend native who left to explore the world, met my husband in New York City, and eventually found our way back to Oregon in 2017. Now, raising our daughter here, I show up to weddings with more than just gear in hand. I’m there fluffing veils in the wind, fixing bustles, calming nerves, and making sure you actually soak in your day. Think of me as a steady presence and a friend who just happens to be documenting it all.
The belly laughs, the happy tears, the tight hug from your family. Although I focus on the candid moments I provide thoughtful posing throughout portraits while letting true moments unfold

She is knowledgeable, kind, and TALENTED! We had a blast with her and could tell throughout our time that she truly is passionate about what she does. You can’t go wrong hiring Hannah...we couldn’t believe the number of magical shots we got of our wedding. We feel so lucky to have found her!

There are a ton of decisions you will make for your wedding or elopement. A couple can easily get lost in the minutiae of a wedding day. One thing you will NEVER regret is hiring Hannah to capture your wedding. She has an incredible talent and will capture your ceremony with elegance and class! She was the best decision we made.

We absolutely LOVED our experience having Hannah as a photographer. She was super helpful before the wedding with planning a realistic timeline for the day,. We were both nervous about photos because we don’t feel we are photogenic and aren’t used to having professional photos taken, but Hannah made us feel SO comfortable and that really shows in the final pictures. We feel so lucky that we got to have her as our photographer.

We are so grateful to have had Hannah’s expertise and incredible talents at our wedding to capture our memories! It was most important to us to take the day slow and feel like we could take in all the little moments along the way and Hannah’s approach allowed us to do just that. Everything was perfectly planned without feeling rushed and allowed for flexibility to get extra time to take it all in.

Hiring Hannah was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Throughout the planning process she was flexible, responsive, and supportive--going above and beyond the typical role. Our wedding day ended up being quite snowy and she did an incredible job capturing the magic of that experience while taking care to make sure we got chances to warm up and enjoy. Hannah was very efficient, frequently finishing well ahead of schedule.
Starting with a zoom or phone call we'll get to know each other and find out if I'm a good fit for photographing your wedding day. From there I send a contract and invoice for 30% of the package for a non-refundable deposit. From there we're onto planning!
About two months before your date, I’ll connect with you and/or your planner to gather all the logistics.
With everything organized ahead of time, I can focus on what really matters: documenting the energy of the day, creating those epic portraits with Mt. Hood in the background, and capturing the candid, joy-filled moments with your favorite people. You get to stay immersed in your celebration — I’ll handle the rest.
The first 15–20 minutes of any session can feel a little awkward — that’s completely normal. I actually love using your engagement session to move through that phase so it’s not happening on your wedding day. Engagement sessions are relaxed, low-pressure, and genuinely fun. By the time your wedding arrives we’ve already built trust and rhythm, and it feels like you have a friend behind the camera.
