I take the same approach with family photos photos that I do with weddings - creating an atmosphere of fun to REALLY capture your family. Yes, I'll get the ones of you all smiling at the camera but my absolute favorite ones are your family interacting, your kids running, your daughter twirling. I try and capture the perfectly imperfect truth that is a family. Whether you are planning a vacation in Sunriver, a family reunion in Sisters, I truly believe that Bend & Central Oregon has the absolute best scenery to adventure to - from Smith Rock to beautiful aspen trees and meadows right in town!

I'm one of the rare people actually from Bend. After adventuring around the world and meeting my husband in New York City, I convinced him that we were Oregon people at heart and moved back here!
We now have a rambunctious toddler which has made me fall back in love with portrait and family photography. My favorite photos are always the moments in between. I also have a new understanding of how stressful family photos can be (and sometimes feel a miracle to get out the door). I try to inspire those true real smiles and laughs and make the process as fun and painless as possible.

From Sunriver to Sisters to Bend there are SO many amazing locations to go to! I'll help you find the perfect spot.
LOCATION
The best light will be about 1.5 hours before sunset but there are plenty of locations that can work during the day for younger children or your schedule
WHAT TIME
A LOT! Usually 50-80 photos for a 1 hour session
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?
MINI SESSIONS
20 minute mini sessions are offered 2-3 times a year, generally in the fall. Keep an eye on our Instagram for announcements.
FAMILY PRICING
Nuclear family pricing starts at $550 for a 1 hour session. Extended family photos (more than 10 people) start at $850.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

YES! I want you to print and enjoy all of your photos forever. All photos are delivered to you in an online gallery that you can easily download from!
There is nothing that I love more that creating a bespoke wedding album for one of my couples. All of my albums are lay flat, leather, and heirloom quality.

For families with young children I love places close to town like Shevlin Park, Dillon Falls, and even Drake Park. Easy locations tend to make for less stressful family sessions. If you want somewhere that feels epic, Smith Rock and Sparks lake are often great options. For families coming from out of town and staying in Sunriver there are great spots nearby.

This is totally up to you! I generally suggest 1 outfit with a mix of colors. I always suggest erring on the side of timeless rather than trendy and comfortable for kids! We'll want to run around a bit so shoes that won't slip and can get a little bit dirty can create a more fun session. The more fun equals the more smiles! Keep in mind most places do not have public bathrooms to change in.
