Julianna and Dylan’s Pole Creek Ranch wedding was the perfect mix of heartfelt moments, playful details, and a setting that truly showed off Central Oregon. These two first met as freshmen at Cal Poly, where their friendship slowly turned into something more. After moving to Bend last year, they decided this was the perfect destination to bring their California-based family and friends together to celebrate.
Their July wedding fell on one of the hottest days of summer, but Pole Creek Ranch gave them everything they needed to make the most of it. The ceremony took place in an open field, with the Cascade Mountains as their backdrop (and a few umbrellas for shade). A close friend from college played the cello as Julianna walked down the aisle.
Guests then moved into a shady grove of ponderosas for cocktail hour, complete with pickle shots, a vintage trailer bar, and even a beer-serving donkey. It was such a fun way to kick off the evening and set the tone for a celebration that was relaxed and festive.
The reception tables were set up near the lodge, creating an outdoor garden-party atmosphere.
